DUP and Sinn Fein have same policy - negotiate with the British

Reflecting on a week which has seen the DUP outline that they want to 'exploit' a hung Parliament and Sinn Fein claim they want a 'major negotiation' with the British Government; Harry Hamilton, Conservatives and Unionist candidate for Upper Bann, contends that There is virtually no difference between the two positions.

In a statement Harry said: "Sinn Fein has stated that they want a 'major negotiation' with the

British Government, the DUP say they want to 'exploit' a hung Parliament. As a committed Unionist, who wants the best for the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, I am struggling to understand the difference - perhaps they might negotiate together.

"A hung Parliament will be a disaster for the United Kingdom, it will cause instability at a time when we need decisive leadership and it will put power in the hands of nationalists across the UK.

"The DUP and Sinn Fein want to negotiate with Number 10, Conservatives and Unionists are fighting to get into Number 10 - this is the fundamental difference at this election.
